Description
The famous evening primrose oil is obtained from the seeds of this plant, which is an excellent source of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA), a semi-essential fat produced in the body starting from linoleic acid by the delta enzyme. 6-desaturase, the activity of which decreases with aging and during various pathological conditions.
